Welcome to gotgenes.com!
My name is Chris Lasher. I'm a computational biologist and a lover of all things Python! Previously, I was a graduate student in the Genetics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology (GBCB) program at Virginia Tech, under the advisement of T. M. Murali and Padma Rajagopalan. My dissertation research presented methods for detecting high-level biological trends in treatment-control experiments by mining high-throughput data. These things I love: family, Python, Software Carpentry, hot showers, TED Talks, Wes Anderson films, Italian, and gypsy jazz.
